Welcome to the TEME English Mistletoe Shop!

Summer 2009 update: Mistletoe won't be producing its distinctive white berries until the autumn. Because of this the mistletoe shop will be closed until September, when our 2009/10 mistletoe range will be launched. The range will be broadly similar to the 08/09 range described below.

Please contact us if you have any immediate enquiries, otherwise do come back in the autumn when you'll be able to place orders for winter and spring deliveries.

For the 2008/09 season we are continuing with our successful Christmas Packages and our increasingly popular Wedding Range .
We also have products suitable for Valentines Day (within the Weddings Range) and can take advance orders for those at any time from October onwards .
Our popular Grow-Your-Own Kit is again available with a Gift Card for Christmas or Valentines Day .
We are planning to add to our range of Mistletoe Cards soon. We are now out of stock of the Portmeirion Mistletoe Mug.
The 2008/09 pricing structure is inclusive of shipping (within UK & Ireland). We have been able to keep prices for the larger boxes the same as in 07/08. Smaller packages have only increased by a few pence. We are not VAT-registered, so recent VAT changes don't affect us much.
Delivery is inclusive - and is either Royal Mail First Class (smaller items) or TNT Next Day (larger items). You choose a date at checkout - but please note that we prefer Tuesdays to Fridays. We try to avoid Monday and Saturday deliveries. Monday delivery risks the packet being left in a heated warehouse over the weekend. For Saturday deliveries there may be a surcharge. For more information see delivery information in our FAQs.
Please order at least 48 hours in advance - in busy periods we cannot guarantee requests for delivery 'tomorrow'.
Orders over £45 value are automatically discounted by 10%.

Mistletoe for Christmas:
All of our mistletoe is freshly harvested - we aim for delivery within 3 days of harvest. Mistletoe is a natural product so exact shapes and colours will vary - some is very bushy, some rather leggy, some bright green, and some golden yellow (the 'Golden Bough ' of legend). We aim to please, so if you have a particular preference on shape, colour and size do let us know.

		Special Orders: Do you need different products or larger branches? We can sometimes supply larger boughs, including natural mistletoe balls - but these are special order only and can be difficult to obtain - prices start at £60.00. Ask about availability and options..

Grow-Your-Own Mistletoe Kit:
Mistletoe GYO Kit	The gift that grows! Grow-Your-Own Mistletoe Kit! A pack of 40-50 fresh ripe mistletoe berries complete with illustrated growing instructions - so that you can try growing your very own mistletoe. Mistletoe germinates best in early spring - so whilst you can order at any time the Grow-Kits are only sent out from February 2009 onwards. The seeds can be planted any time between February and April. Our Grow-Kit Gift Voucher makes an ideal Christmas Gift...		GYO Kit Gift Card
You can pre-order at any time, either for yourself, or as a Christmas or Valentine's Gift for your husband, wife, lover to grow their kissing plant. For a small extra charge we'll send you a GYO Kit Gift Card, for you to give/send to your lover - they can then send the voucher part back to us to claim their kit. The card is designed for you to write in "To" and "From" and then give/send to the recipent. It is sent cello-wrapped to you, with an envelope for you to send it to the recipient, and a return pre-paid envelope for them to redeem the voucher with us.
Mistletoe GYO Kit - £14.00 Orders are taken anytime but will be only be dispatched from February 2009. March 09 upate: : SORRY! No more Grow Kit orders can be taken at present.	What do you need to provide? All you need is a suitable host tree (cultivated apple, poplars, willows, limes and false acacia are all good hosts - but there are many more - a full list is included) - and patience. It will take at least 4 years for your mistletoe to bear berries. Mortality can be high - so we include 40-50 berries to ensure success. Mistletoe Cards: (new range to be announced soon)
Postcard Sets In 2007 we launched our 2 sets of mistletoe postcards, one showing botanical images, the other showing the use of mistletoe in Art Nouveau. All have brief explanatory captions on the back. All cards measure 14 x 10.6 cm approx. and are packed with envelopes in cello-wrapping.
		Botanical Postcards - £3.00 4 historic prints of mistletoe from botanical books and herbals dating from the 16th to 19th centuries.	Art Nouveau Postcards - £3.00 4 composite pictures showing how mistletoe imagery was used in continental Art Nouveau in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.



Portmeirion Mistletoe Mug:

Mistletoe for Weddings:
Mistletoe is ideal for wedding decorations, as it is an ancient symbol of love and fertility. According to tradition many people meet their future spouse under mistletoe! We can supply tailored orders for weddings - just tell us what you need. Some ideas, based on our Christmas packages and feedback from customers are given below: Please note that white-berried mistletoe is only available from November to April - in other months mistletoe is available without berries or with unripe green berries.
